Nexen have shared their activities with the BCI

This year here at Nexen UK our major effort for BCAW will be the launch of a Nexen BCM 'Community of Practice' (CoP) internal web page. We use CoPs within Nexen to inform and educate our workforce on initiatives which are taking place within the Company. We have existing CoPs on Project Management; Health and Safety, Finance, Planning issues etc., The attached PPT Slide outlines the purpose and objectives of the CoP.

We will launch the CoP simultaneously with an announcement regarding BCAW on our internal Nexen Loop which is accessible by all of our employees Worldwide.
We are also planning a BCM event with our internal practitioners at our Aberdeen Offices to review BCM progress to date within Nexen Petroleum U.K. Ltd and to set future goals and expectations.
